Recruits
Display guild and rank insignia and mention your guild often when appropriate in play or conversation.
Knights of Chaos
While playing, invite people who you meet to the guild. Try to answer any questions they have. If an answer to their question is not known direct them to more senior members.
An example of how to ask people if they would like to join:
“Hey! great game. I know a lot of clans are kind of lame these days but if you had fun playing with me/us you should check out clan kc. We are different than most clans!”
Senior Knights of Chaos
Answer questions of recruits who are directed to you by more junior guild members - answers to many of these questions can be found on this page.
Invite people you meet anywhere to join the guild if appropriate to do so.
Ex. extending an invitation to join the guild would be appropriate in the following scenario: During a meal with friends or co-workers the subject of gaming is mentioned.
Officers
Run recruitment systems such as recruitment and entrance channel bots.
Monitor web based systems for anomalies.
Ex. The senior staff position of bot officer for B.net is tasked with making sure that all recruitment bots are functioning properly and adjusting them as needed. All recruitment bots are on remote servers so the bot officer does not need to keep their own computer on in order to keep the recruitment bots running.
Lord / Lady
Develop and implement new systems to facilitate the quick recruitment of members for all sections of the guild.
Ex. The development and writing of this recruitment protocol and the development of the systems to allow automated recruitment to take place (ex. IM Bot).
